About the role
This is a high-impact new business hunting role within a hyper-growth environment. As a Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and expanding the company’s Enterprise Customer base. Territory is across Italy and additional European and international markets.
You will target €400m+ organisations, leading cross-border complex sales cycles. Developing deep relationships with senior stakeholders within finance, compliance, digital transformation, and procurement.
Working closely with Solution Consulting, Product, and Compliance teams, you will position the company’s intelligent e-invoicing and tax compliance solutions. Positioning the solutions as mission-critical infrastructure for multinational enterprises preparing for ongoing regulatory change.
This role is ideal for a driven, consultative sales professional who thrives in new market creation, complex deal cycles, and fast-moving regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to contract signature, across Italy and other European/international markets.
- Proactively identify, target, and engage large multinational organisations impacted by upcoming or existing e-invoicing and CTC mandates.
Cross-Border Enterprise Selling
- Manage complex multi-stakeholder sales processes involving finance, tax, IT, procurement, and compliance teams across several countries.
- Lead high-value deals requiring cross-border coordination and alignment with internal delivery teams.
Market Expansion & Pipeline Development
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan focused on Italy while contributing pipeline growth in markets such as Belgium, Poland, France, and Germany (upcoming).
- Develop relationships with ecosystem partners (consultancies, regulatory experts, integrators) to accelerate market penetration.
Consultative & Solutions-Led Selling
- Work closely with Solution Consulting to shape tailored proposals and product demonstrations.
- Become a trusted advisor to enterprise prospects, educating them on regulatory changes, compliance challenges, and the business impact of adopting automated e-invoicing solutions.
Internal Collaboration & Product Influence
- Act as the voice of the customer, relaying market insights to Product, Compliance, and the Centre of Excellence teams.
- Support alignment of the product roadmap with emerging European mandate requirements.
About You
- Proven experience in enterprise new business sales, ideally within SaaS or compliance-driven technology.
- Strong understanding of e-invoicing, compliance, or CTC mandates in Italy and a bonus if you have across European markets.
- Experience selling into CFO, CPO, Tax, or Digital Transformation stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Entrepreneurial, target-driven, and comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-changing environment.
