German-Speaking Senior Solutions Consultant – Indirect Tax (EMEA)

Location: Remote – EMEA

Salary: £90,000 basic + 30% annual variable bonus

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a leading international software provider looking to appoint an experienced Senior Solutions Consultant to support continued growth across the EMEA region.

This is a consultative, customer-facing role where you’ll work alongside enterprise clients to understand complex indirect tax and compliance requirements, demonstrating how technology can simplify global tax processes. Acting as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to help customers make informed decisions.

Working closely with Sales, Product and Delivery teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping customer solutions while influencing product direction through market and client feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Business Development and Channel teams to provide subject matter expertise during complex sales engagements.
• Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer requirements across indirect tax, compliance and ERP landscapes.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
• Advise customers on implementation readiness, ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales into delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with finance, tax and IT stakeholders across enterprise organisations.
• Keep up to date with indirect tax legislation, market developments and emerging technology trends across EMEA.
• Share market insight with internal stakeholders to support product development and go-to-market strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Professional Services teams to address customer requirements and solution design.
• Represent the business at customer events, industry conferences and partner engagements where required.

About You

You’ll bring a blend of tax knowledge, technical consulting experience and strong stakeholder management skills.

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least five years’ experience in Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales, Professional Services or a similar customer-facing SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax and compliance processes across the EMEA region.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• The ability to explain complex technical and regulatory concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors, Heads of Tax, IT leaders and executive teams.
• Fluency in German and English, with additional Spanish and/or French language skills highly desirable.
• A proactive, consultative approach with excellent presentation and communication skills.
