A Software Quality Assurance Manager is required to run a team of 6 Quality Assurance Analysts with head count for 3 more this year for a Global Fintech Firm. Currently, Development Managers manage the QAs and a QA Manager is needed to control complete testing strategy for their .Net stack environment – working alongside 40 in-house Developers.
Location: London, City
Salary: <£75k + disc. 10% bonus, health, pension, life assurance, childcare vouchers, 25 days holiday
The Software Quality Assurance Manager will own the strategy for currently 6 Quality Assurance Analysts with a mix of automation and manual test experience in the team (projects range from 50% automation down to just 10% and require improvement). QA’s range in focus from .Net to Salesforce CRM and Angular. As Software Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll improve mentoring in both test automation and agile, as well as work with the Development teams as a visible advocate of best-standards testing practice. Reporting into the CTO, you’ll be visible within the business at board-level and responsible for the shape of Quality Assurance.
Current technical tools employed: Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins and Team City and Octopus Deploy
·Established Software Quality Assurance Manager with both a strategic background and hands-on approach – you’ll have been a Senior QA previously and spent significant time in a QA Manager or Head of QA role.
·You’ll need to have been from a heavily .Net oriented stack previously
·Have successfully devised and implemented a new testing strategy (including Deployment, Smoke testing and Agile process)
·MUST be able and willing to get your hands dirty where necessary – and show aptitude for that at interview
·Strong proven background in Functional, Automation and Performance testing
·Experience of working in a TDD / BDD environment
·Good Agile experience
·Experience in test tool selection and implementation
