A Software QA Manager is required to run a team of 4 QA for a Global Entertainment Software Business. This exciting Times Tech 100 produces live event software displays for the very biggest Global Events. They need a Software QA Manager as a hands-on Automation specialist to put together test plans, guide the team and diagnose issues from a technical perspective. Huge scaling opportunity here (Development team of 15) – If you’re a Software QA Manager this is the perfect chance to grow a function, work in an absolutely awesome entertainment business (they even provide a monthly “gig allowance”!) and you get to automate the work of 15 in-house developers from scratch. If you’re a Senior QA Automation Lead with some line-management experience, this is also a perfect role.
Location: Central London
Salary: £65k – £70k + package
The Software QA Manager will be hands-on, able to lead from the front on issue resolution, as well as mentoring automation techniques. They use Test Rail, Confluence/Jira for tracking and Postman for issue diagnostics. Stack is C++/Python with Team City for CI, but language specifics are not as important as ability to produce efficient build and release processes, hands-on.
The Software QA Manager will mentor and coach the team in automation, and evolve the function with the Head of Engineering and CTO to produce a world-class QA function.
Software QA Manager or Senior QA Lead exp – line management of QA previously
Strong Automation exp – building test plans, scenarios and harnesses from scratch
Good Agile practice and commitment to quality code
Automation for Software and Hardware Build Releases
Strong Python and C++ exp
Background in Gaming, Live Show, Media or Broadcast
