A Mid /Senior Ruby Developer is required for a major FinTech business, a true R & D environment with a team of 25 rotating across multiple product builds which have won a string of awards. You’ll be a Strong Ruby Developer, keen to work on different tech and theyll be bringing in Clojure, shortly; creating complex tools on crowd-investor related products. They currently have more projects than they do developers, and boast a fantastic range of senior developers from the Ruby community. They help nurture really strong Ruby talent, with their own Junior development programme, which gives you the opportunity to not only learn but mentor juniors too. You’ll learn best Agile practices, with constant, continuous integration, but best of all is the freedom & creativity to contribute to innovative complex Ruby systems in a real R&D environment – a Red Bull Future 50 List Winner & features in the TechCrunch startup 100 list.
Location: Central London (SE1)
Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 DOE
Technology-wise, they use a full Ruby stack, including Cassandra, Redis, AWS, Elasticsearch, and are not averse to using any other tech that helps to keep themselves ahead of the game. They’re bringing in Clojure, for example.
Skills & Requirements
Ideally, you will have at least 2-5 years development experience.
On top of a passion for technology and a good working knowledge of Ruby
