A Python Django Developer is required for a UK Government-endorsed mid-stage Fintech to contribute to a range of projects. These including implementing a new website from scratch. You’ll also be migrating their large existing dataset to Salesforce, refining their matching algorithm and integrating their back-end into a range of 3rd Parties. This is in the short-medium term as part of a team of 4 (with future growth plans for the team).
This is a Python Django role with a company at the crest of a wave for expansion and scaling of capability.
Location: London, SE1
Salary: £40k – £52k + benefits / bonus.
A strong open-source advocate, you’ll have a good commercial production level background, ideally in Python and Django, with the most important element being a strong back-end understanding of data . Strong Open-Source Developers will be considered who show a propensity to learn Python and Django. You’ll be keen to expand you education level with new technologies and trends relating to Python Django server application development.
The Python/Django developer role will then help, in the long term, further integrations with data providers, improving customer journies for the clients, and automating internal processes. You’ll gain valuable mentoring (or the chance to mentor if you’re a more senior candidate with intentions to do so) and experience of cutting edge data set manipulation and flow.
1-3 years Python and Django experience (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
Database technologies exposure (PostgreSQL, MySQL ideally)
Strong Data-oriented algorithm development experience
