A Chief Operating Officer for a Global Business Enterprise Software firm is needed to run Technical and Client On-Boarding Operations. You’ll be responsible for running operations for Sales, Operations, Marketing and Technology with teams totalling 115 You’ll work to improve operational and technology performance across 5 Global offices.
Salary: £150k – £180k + bonus + equity + benefits
Location: London, Kings Cross
This 600 person Software business provides financial technology solutions to the Global Leisure Industry connecting Corporate Travel businesses to their broker, agent and online partners. This Global Leisure and Tourism Software provider holds multiple territory teams and assets and require harmonisation around Sales and Operations, as well as take ownership for their technology roadmap. You’ll run teams totalling 115 including sales (35), Operations (15) and a Development / Infrastructure team of 50 (with a Technology Director reporting in over that team). You’ll be chiefly concerned with:
Providing support to the CEO around operational concerns and bringing structure into the organisations sales and development teams.
A major Dynamic CRM system implementation to support sales & marketing teams with Services, Sales and Marketing being implemented
A major team redistribution and training programme for FSA regulationss
Data Due Diligence around Sales & Operations Reviews.
In addition, sales team process reviews – as the business is FSA regulated, reviewing sales techniques and methods around the compliant behaviours is paramount.
These sit within the first 6 months, and a raft of major new products and initiatives will be set for Q4.
Experience as a COO or Senior Operations Director in a previous position with similar team sizes
You will need to hold a strong domain knowledge, understanding both the Travel Industry and the peaks and flows of activity associated with that and sales cycles.
Strong Technology make-up in your profile – whilst you won’t be reading code, empathy and direction within software development and hosting services will be crucial skills
Financial Regulatory experience – able to advise on best approaches to Regs as a sales outfit
Operational training programmes for teams
The COO will be a significant adhesive to the whole business, supporting the CEO, engaging with operational planning for the future of a business with exciting growth potential as an already highly scaled entity.
